Our Sofia the First twitter party
Last week we had the pleasure of hosting our very own Sofia the first twitter party in celebration of the release of the range of Sofia the First micro playsets. We had lots of fun preparing for twitter party; what with trying out lots of fantastic Sofia the First micro playsets; writing invites for the big day and shopping for lots of tasty goodies for our guests. NOM decided to invite her cousins to share her party day as we know one of them is a very big Sofia the First fan!
On the day of the party, there was lots to do in preparing for the arrival of our guests. We decorated the room; set out the table; made sure everything was ready for the party games and put together a fabulous party bag full of goodies for each of our guests to take home. We had lots of help and NOM enjoyed putting together the party bags, although she kept asking if she was going to get one too (which she did)!
As our guests started to arrive, we had a play with some of the Sofia the First micro playsets (which made two little ladies very happy) whilst we were able to make the last minute preparations for the party (you can see our review of these playsets here).
We had decided on doing a barbeque for the food with the children helping to make some party type food themselves. We began our party with making a range of small themed party food ranging from micro shaped sandwiches; micro shaped cakes and fruit skewers that went down a treat!
Onto the party games and activities…
We had pass the parcel..
An egg hunt..
And making crowns fit for a princess!!!
We had lots of fun and our guests won some really lovely prizes along the way, some edible (yum!) and some with a Sofia the First theme. We ended the party with some more testing of those lovely Sofia the First micro playsets which were going down a treat with one of our guests in particular (and NOM of course!). And what party wouldn’t be complete without some goodies to go home with. Our fab goody bags went down a storm too! Lots of Sofia the First goodies in one bag which included one of the micro playsets; some edible goodyness; a lovely Sofia the First magazine and poster and lastly the new Sofia the First DVD “Holiday in Enchancia.” Some very happy guests we had when going home!
I really hope you all managed to join us, UKMums.tv and Disney Junior UK for the twitter party and enjoyed our updates of our very own party (as well as the other bloggers taking part). If you want to hold your very own Sofia the First party then please do visit Disney Junior for more fun Sofia activities and games that you can do at home!
*Please note, that in order for me to complete our Sofia the First Twitter Party, I was sent a range Sofia the First party packs; micro playsets and goody bag contents but all our experiences and thoughts are my own*
