Having a #DoraSingAlong fun time!

Having a #DoraSingAlong fun time!

As a family, we love Nick Jr. and the range of programs that they show. L loves his Peppa Pig whilst NOM has always loved a variety of programs which more recently have included Wallykazam! and one from our own childhoods, ALVINNN!!! and the Chipmunks. With the Summer holidays in full swing, Nick Jr. want children to get vocal with their Sing-Along Summer. From 17th July, tune in from 10am-1pm to watch everyone’s favourite Nick Jr. shows where on screen lyrics to all songs and theme tunes will be shown. I think we will be joining in with a bit of a sing song this Summer as NOM loves nothing better than enjoying a bit of singing and music – even mummy and daddy may partake in some too!

Another of NOM’s favourite shows has  to be the new Dora and Friends: Into the City. NOM  was really excited when we were given the opportunity to review their new toy range by Fisherprice. We were sent a selection of the new range in a lovely presented box which I think NOM was excited about opening!

Inside the box we received:

– An Alana and Kate Doggy Day Dolls RRP. £10.99

Dora Magic Charms Bracelet RRP. £9.99

Dora Magic Adventure Charms Set – Emma RRP. £7.99

Dora Smartphone RRP. £9.99

#DoraSingAlongAll were relatively easy to get out of their packaging and NOM was very excited to get started with them all. She immediately went straight for the Alana and Kate dolls, re-doing their hair and arranging their shoes – these were a big hit! She then moved onto the charm bracelets and enjoyed placing the individual charms onto each of the blank pins on the bracelet itself. They are relatively easy to put on by little fingers but may require an adult to push them on firmly. She was engrossed in playing with these for ages! Another big hit we think! Lastly, the Dora smartphone was played with but I think NOM found this a tad unexciting as all you did was press the main face for it to play phone noises. L loved it though!

Overall I think that the new range of Dora toys have been a big hit with NOM. They are reasonably priced – perfect for pocket money and many to choose from to collect the whole range. I think we will definitely have to get more of the range particularly when NOM decides they are good enough to sleep in her bed:

Now I know they are a big hit!

*Please note that in order for me to write this review I was sent a selection of Dora and Friends toys to review but all my views are my own*
